STATE   PRESIDENT

RANDOLPH  B.  HOLLEY

Hinton Lodge #821

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the West Virginia Elks Association
for allowing me to serve as their State President.  This would not have been possible if not for the
support and friendship of the members of Hinton Lodge 821.  Most of all, I thank my loving wife
Mary Ann for her love and support through my involvement in the West Virginia Elks Association.

The motto this year is "Happiness in Elkdom".  Elks deeds have put millions of smiles on people's
faces throughout America.  In West Virginia, have you seen the smile on a campers face at the
handicap camps, on the kids at a lodge Christmas party, to hear the excitement in a student's voice
when they have received an Elks scholarship.  The happiness in a Veteran's face when the Elks visit
VA hospital and take a small gift.  The joy and thanks from a soldier returning home from war when a
lodge has a welcome home party.  The thanks you receive from the First Responders when they are
honored at a cookout.  These charitable functions are what puts happiness in everyone's hearts.
Elks charitable work will continue with the support of the generous hearts and the smiles of all Elks.
Share  this wonderful and enjoyable work with others by bringing one new member into your Lodge,
new members are the life blood of our organization.  Remember every charitable act brings happiness
 to someone.

Fraternally yours

Randy Holley
