Message from the President
I would like to thank all of the members of the West Virginia Elks Association and especially the Past State Presidents for your support, opportunity, and confidence in me to serve as your State President for the 2024-2025 year. I want to thank my own lodge, Elkins #1135, for everything and all of the support they have given me over my Elks career.
As a State Association we can be proud of all our members and the accomplishments they have done and will continues to do for the kids, Veterans, and First Responders in our state. With whoever we can help and recognize for all of those who do so much for the people of West Virginia. My slogan is KEVIN C “KEEPING ELKS VISIBLE IN the COMMUNITY”. Which is the same as my son’s name. |

With all of the organizations stumbling, the Elks need to be more visible in our community, by letting others know what the Elks are about and all of the good they do for those in the communities. We can show off all we do and give support by helping one another and showing we are still strong and growing in our communities. That will help us get new members and help keep older members excited to help out.
In closing, I want to thank a few special people that if it were not for them, I would not be able to stand in front of you as State President. Past State Presidents Don Barger, Bill Lambert, John Penn, along with all of the Central Districts PSP’s, along with Don Stokes, Carl Mooney, and Past Grand Exalted Ruler Ted Hess. Also, a gentleman that wasn’t a State President, but a Past District Deputy, James McCloud for getting me in the Elks back in 1993. I owe all of these men so much for helping me get here. Along with all of the great Elks from Elkins #1135, for all of your support.
I promise to do the best I can to represent and uphold the Cardinal Principals of our order. Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. I will always be here to help you to the best I can in whatever you need.
