Teenager of the Month Program
The senior (12th grade) and junior (7th and 8th grade) Teen of the Month/Year Program is designed to
recognize well rounded students that excel in academic, extra-curricular and community service endeavors.
There are three stages of judging beginning at the Local Lodge (September 1 - May 15),
advancing to the District Level (May 25 - June 15) and culminating at the State Convention in August.
Students' applications are scored using a unified scoring matrix that is consistent across the three judging levels.
The state level final judging is performed by four higher education professionals that are not Elks members.
Our goal is not only to recognize academic performance but to also recognize students
who excel outside the classroom and within their communities.
