Obituary for Carl "Red" Remick Carl “Red” Remick, age 97 of Wheeling, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling. He was born April 2, 1925 in Triadelphia, WV son of the late John and Mary Radovich Remick. Red was retired from Ohio Valley (United) Dairy, a founding member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Life Member of the Elks Lodge No. 28 of Wheeling, Mt. Olivet Volunteer Fire Department, member and past president of the Mt. Olivet Community Park, with 35 years of service and a US Army WWII veteran. Survivors include three daughters: Becky (Bob) Randolph, Patti (Andy) Wesolowski and Denni Remick all of Wheeling; grandson: Robert “Bob” Randolph, Jr of Columbus, OH; two great-grandchildren: Ashley Randolph of Lewis Center, OH and Carl J. “C.J.” Randolph of Columbus, OH; two great great grandchildren: Carter Yant and Emma Young both of Lewis Center, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Daniel Wilson and staff and the Good Shepherd Nursing Home staff for the exceptional care given to Red.
